EPR Authorization

EPR NOC is an authorisation/ permission that is granted by the Pollution Control Board to the Producers, Importers, and Brand Owners of Plastic waste as per the Plastic Waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2016. PIBO (Producer, Importers, and Brand Owners) organisations are required to get them registered with the Central Pollution Control Board and State Pollution Control Board.

PIBO organisations that bring plastic waste into the market by their products are responsible to collect, segregate, and transport the plastic waste on their own, or engage with Plastic Waste Recyclers and Waste Management Agencies, or Urban local bodies.

PIBO organisations have to get the authorisation from the State Pollution Board and Central Pollution Control Board and submit the EPR plan (Extended Producers Responsibility)

Documents Required For EPR registration

PAN (PDF), GST Certificate (PDF) - Address in the GST certificate to be used as Business address.
CIN (Incorporation certificate, PDF) IEC - Import Export Code PDF, in case of applicant being an Importer.
Aadhaar of Authorized Person PAN of Authorized Person DIC registration certificate - If Unit is registered with DIC
Process flow diagram (PDF)- in case of applicant being a Producer, must show input and output in terms of products and waste generated .
Consents issued by SPCB/PCC - in case of a manufacturing facility Scanned copy of Signatures of Authorised person (JPEG) Covering Letter - (Format will be provided) Details of capital investment in the project (CA Certificate) Details of the year of commencement of operations of the entity.
